Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Juan Alejandro Solano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rydolf Karel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Karel has chosen Hail Czech as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Juan Alejandro Solano! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Rydolf Karel! The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Skip Squint and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Karel looks to score with a jab to the body but Solano is just out of range. Solano will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Solano misses with a takedown attempt and Karel counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Karel shoots in and bounces Solano off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Karel is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Karel throws a big right hand that misses. Karel slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Karel with a flurry of punches that miss. Solano keeping full guard, as Karel tries to pass.
That's one minute gone in the round. Karel postures up in Solano's guard and throws a big left but Solano blocks it. Karel not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Solano wants to sweep but no luck.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Solano gets caught flat footed, as Karel shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Karel content to stall in guard here. It looks like Karel might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Solano wants to sweep here but Karel controlling him for the moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Karel showing good wrestling skills to control the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Solano tries to land a sweep but no joy.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Rydolf Karel. Solano shoots and misses and Karel holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Karel has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Solano clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Karel slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
Let's hope that Karel has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Karel is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Solano grimaces as he takes a shot to the body. Karel really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Solano. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Solano tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Karel looking to control and managing it successfully. Solano tries to reverse the position but Karel maintains control. Karel controlling the position easily from mount. Karel lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Karel fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Karel controlling the position easily from mount. Karel's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Rydolf Karel. Karel rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Solano moves out of range and avoids them all easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rydolf Karel dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Karel closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Solano did well to prevent Karel getting side control. Karel is controlling the pace.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Rydolf Karel hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Solano throws a series of punches but Karel avoids them all with ease. Karel shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Solano manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Solano working a defensive guard here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Solano is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Karel is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Karel looking to pass the guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Karel is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Karel stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Juan Alejandro Solano is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Karel is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Solano's half guard. Karel perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Karel takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Rydolf Karel has got the better of the ground game so far. Solano has hold of Karel's hands but Karel slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Karel content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Solano taking some punishment here, with Karel in his half guard. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Karel in particular looking to stall.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Rydolf Karel. Solano tries to sprawl but Karel drives through with a takedown into half guard. The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Karel throwing strikes but missing. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Karel content to stall in guard here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rydolf Karel showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Nice shot lands for Karel. Karel drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Karel controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Karel stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Solano swivels though and keeps the full guard. Karel controls from within his opponent's guard.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Rydolf Karel was stalling too much, according to the referee. Solano misses with a wild combination.
That's one minute gone in the round. Karel clinches up against the cage. Solano wants to take the fight to the mat but Karel manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Karel has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Solano clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Karel controlling the position well here. Solano rolled but Karel kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
Karel has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Karel scores with punches from the back.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Karel connects with a series of strikes and the referee is calling for Solano to escape the position.
Karel is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Karel is landing with strikes. Solano can't take much more of this.
That's three minutes gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Solano's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Karel has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. Not a good position for Solano. Karel is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish. Oooh a big shot gets through from Karel. Many more shots like that and the referee will have to think about stepping in!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Karel throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting Solano!
Karel has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Solano's body.
Solano tries to roll but Karel sticks to his back.
I would not like to be Solano right now.
Solano trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Solano is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
Karel punches Solano on the ear.
And that's the end of the fight! Rydolf Karel comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Karel has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
