Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Glin Burman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Albert Stoker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Glin Burman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Albert Stoker! The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Damien Edna and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Burman misses with a few strikes there.
Burman throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Stoker closes this distance looking for a takedown but Burman circles away. Burman ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Stoker misses with a double jab.
Nice shot by Burman. Burman throws a hook but Stoker avoids it easily. Burman has managed to clinch.
Burman is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Stoker drops down looking for an ankle pick but Burman pulls his leg out and moves away.
A combination from Burman does no damage. No joy there for Burman, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Burman fails to land with a series of punches.
That's one minute gone in the round. Burman closes the distance looking to clinch and Stoker counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Stoker slips a jab and a cross from Burman.
Burman tries to clinch but Stoker moves away and Stoker counters with a lovely straight right hand! No joy there for Burman, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Burman steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Stoker. Burman throws a nice looking combination but Stoker bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Burman misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Stoker fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Burman to the ground. Stoker is now in Burman's guard. Stoker with a flurry of punches that miss. Stoker won't allow Burman to sweep him here. Burman had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Stoker defends it easily. Burman is breathing heavily. Stoker trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Stoker accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Burman is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Burman keeping moving, preventing Stoker from controlling successfully. Burman working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Stoker. Stoker trying to control the position from guard on top but Burman is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Burman!
Burman tries to bum rush Stoker with a series of wild strikes but Stoker uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Stoker stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Burman will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Burman scores with a shot to the body.

Burman checks the leg kick. Burman swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Stoker counters with a nice uppercut. Stoker with a body punch. A glancing blow. Burman will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Burman misses with a right hand and Stoker counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Stoker works over Burman's head and body with a nice combination. Stoker throws a series of strikes that have Burman backpedaling.

and Stoker counters with a nice double leg into half guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Stoker moves nicely into side control. Burman is trying to improve his position. Stoker cracks Burman with an elbow. That is naaassty.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stoker looks up at the clock and then as Burman takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Stoker smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Stoker passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Burman! Stoker landing strikes from the mount. Stoker is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Burman can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Stoker lands a nice shot to the head. Stoker looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Burman tries to hold on but Stoker postures up. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Stoker punishing his opponent with strikes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Albert Stoker dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Stoker sizes up Burman with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Burman. Burman throws the left hand but Stoker avoids the punch easily. Burman throws a hook to the side of Stoker's head but Stoker sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. A head kick misses from Burman. Burman throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Stoker sees it coming and avoids it easily. A big left from Stoker misses. A decent looking cross lands there for Stoker. Glin Burman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A telegraphed right hand from Burman misses the target. Stoker closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Stoker trying to control the position but Burman is working away. Burman tries to bench press Stoker off him but Stoker keeps the position. Stoker lands an elbow. Burman avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Stoker.
That's one minute gone in the round. Burman is looking to regain half guard here but Stoker keeps moving and retains side control. Stoker has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Burman manages to work his way to half guard, despite Stoker's best efforts. Burman blocking the ground and pound attempt from Stoker. Burman flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Burman is looking to control Stoker's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Burman avoid being mounted? Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Stoker frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Stoker unloading with bombs! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Stoker raining down hammerfists from mount. Stoker wants to finish this one by submission but Burman is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Stoker.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Burman wants to hold on but Stoker pushes him away. Stoker looking to finish Burman with some ground and pound. This is bad for Burman! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Stoker controlling from mount. Stoker breaks from Burman's wrist control and lands an elbow. Burman is trying to escape the mount.
Stoker trying to control but Burman is having none of it. Burman tries to reverse the position but Stoker maintains control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stoker raining down shots from the mount! Stoker looking for a guillotine from mount but Burman is having none of it. Burman is desperately trying to improve his position but Stoker has a good base and remains in mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stoker landing strikes, looking to finish! Stoker controlling his opponent. Stoker avoids the attempt from Burman to control. Stoker with shots to the head and body - Burman looks very uncomfortable down there. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Stoker controlling the position easily from mount. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Stoker punishing his opponent with strikes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Albert Stoker showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Burman moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Burman is looking to clinch. Burman uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Stoker. Burman misses with a two punch combination.
A punch combination from Burman misses. Burman's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Stoker connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Burman scrambles back to his feet. Burman throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Stoker stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Burman tries to clinch but Stoker moves away and Stoker counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Burman on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

That's one minute gone in the round. Burman looks to land a left hand but Stoker moved out of range nicely. Burman is looking to clinch but Stoker is avoiding it.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Burman checks a leg kick. Stoker connects with a single shot there. Stoker takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Stoker misses with a takedown attempt - Burman sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Stoker takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Burman fails to land with a series of punches.

Stoker misses with a low kick. Stoker attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Burman looks to land a combination but Stoker avoids it well. Glin Burman is winning the standup battle so far. Stoker jabs at Burman's body. Stoker throws a leg kick which misses Burman's front leg but catches the back leg as Burman tries to avoid it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stoker forces Burman back against the cage and clinches. Burman is trying to maintain a safe position but Stoker gets an underhook and turns Burman into the cage. Stoker is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Burman is defending well for now. Burman pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Burman gets a clinch. Stoker is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Stoker drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Burman gets the underhooks and prevents it.
This has been an exciting period of action! Burman with a knee to the head.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Stoker as Burman tries to tie him up. Burman escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Burman looks to land a body kick but Stoker moved away. Glin Burman is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Stoker ducks under a wild hook from Burman. Burman doesn't manage to clinch there - Stoker circles away.
Stoker throws a leg kick but Burman sees it coming and moves out of range. Stoker tests Burman's chin there with a solid looking shot. No joy there for Burman, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Stoker forces Burman back against the cage and clinches. Stoker has Burman pushed against the cage. Burman lands a shoulder strike. Glin Burman has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Burman landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Burman tries to stall but Stoker uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Stoker slowing the pace effectively. A frustrated look appears on Stoker's face as he tries to break the clinch. Stoker keeps control of Burman as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Burman taking a breather. Burman misses with the head strike.
Burman is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Stoker breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Glin Burman. I think Stoker has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
