The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bear drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Bear working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Vymiatajec is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Bear remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Vymiatajec throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Bear stumbling backwards into the cage! Bear bounces back off the cage towards Vymiatajec, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Vymiatajec lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Vymiatajec celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
