Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bam Neely (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shanir Shackioorhan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Neely is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shackioorhan shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Neely pinned against the cage. Neely gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Neely is breathing heavily.
Shackioorhan shoots in looking for a takedown but Neely manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Shackioorhan's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Neely misses with a two punch combination.
Shackioorhan shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Neely pinned against the cage. Neely gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Bam Neely has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shanir Shackioorhan.

and Neely counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
The fighters are battling for position here. Shackioorhan manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Shackioorhan escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Neely gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Shackioorhan manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Neely manages to get himself to full guard.
Shackioorhan drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Neely manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Shackioorhan has Neely in his guard.

Neely avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Neely got a little sloppy there for a moment and Shackioorhan has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Neely has managed to get both his arms back between Shackioorhan's legs - danger averted.
Neely tries to free his leg and advance position but Shackioorhan is retaining full guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Shackioorhan is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Neely is aware though and is defending well.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Shackioorhan escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Neely gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Shackioorhan has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Neely can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Shackioorhan is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Neely tries to roll over but Shackioorhan keeps him under control.
Shackioorhan looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Shackioorhan seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Neely does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Shackioorhan throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Neely has his hands clasped together but Shackioorhan breaks the hold and Neely is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Shackioorhan!
