Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between He Man (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Silver Surfer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

With a record of 18 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Silver Surfer!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Man tries a head kick but it misses.
Man throws a big shot that misses.
Surfer shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Man sprawls well. Man wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Surfer gets slowly back to his feet.
Surfer will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Surfer tries to score with a low kick but Man moves his leg out of the way.
Surfer uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Man.
No joy there for Surfer, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Surfer lands a jab to Man's midsection.
Surfer misses with a body shot.
Man jabs Surfer right on the nose. Surfer blinks but takes it well.
Man scores with a head kick. Surfer tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

Man misses with a looping left.
Man stuns Surfer with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Surfer tries to clinch but Man moves out of range.
Man throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Surfer.
Man moves in looking to clinch but Surfer pushes him off.
Surfer wants to clinch up but Man keeps it at a distance.
He Man is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Man misses with a hook. Surfer ducked under it nicely.

Man stuns Surfer with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Man tries to throw a body punch but Surfer avoids it by throwing Man back against the cage.
Man gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Man makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Man lands an elbow inside.

Surfer gets control of Man's arms and successfully pulls guard. Surfer will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Man showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Surfer controls Man momentarily but Man frees himself.
Surfer looking to hit a scissor sweep but Man is one step ahead there.
Surfer is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Surfer has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Man can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Man trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Man slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Man got a little sloppy there for a moment and Surfer has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Man has managed to get both his arms back between Surfer's legs - danger averted.
Man has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Man stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Surfer swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Surfer is looking for a triangle but Man pushes his legs off easily.

Man trying to control the position from guard on top but Surfer is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Man stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Surfer swivels though and keeps the full guard.

He Man has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Man fails to land with a series of punches.
Man is looking to score with low kicks.
Man uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Surfer.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Man lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Surfer backwards.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Man's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Surfer wants to clinch.
Surfer throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Man stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Surfer throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Surfer chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Man can pounce on him.
Man moves to clinch but Surfer breaks away
and Surfer counters with a stiff right hand.
Man throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Man with a jab.
Man misses with a double jab
and Surfer counters with a lovely shot to the body.

Surfer looks to throw the jab but Man is out of range.
Man is looking to clinch but Surfer is avoiding it.
Man misses with a series of wild punches.
Surfer connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Man momentarily.
Surfer is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Man rather than just go for the knockout.
Man is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Man ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Surfer moves away.
Surfer takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Man looks for the body kick but Surfer saw that one coming.

Man pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Surfer throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Surfer takes a shot to the body in his stride.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Man connects with a right hand. Surfer shakes it off.
Surfer has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Man.
Man throws a half hearted mid kick.
Man stuffs the takedown attempt from Surfer. Surfer gets slowly back to his feet.
Man throws out a loose jab but Surfer uses good head movement to avoid it.
Man throws a right hand that Surfer ducks under and follows up with a left that Surfer also avoids with ease.

Man takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Man dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Surfer. That did some damage!
Man wants to land a leg kick but Surfer is out of range.
Man tries a head kick but it misses.
Surfer keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Man looks to land a right hand but Surfer moved out of range.
Surfer fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Man manages to avoid it.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Surfer thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Man is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Surfer drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Man dives on top into guard.

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

The ref stands the fighters back up. He Man wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Man moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Man lands a nice leg kick that just misses Surfer's sensitive parts.

Surfer moves out of range of the body kick.
He Man is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Man thuds his right hand into Surfer's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Man. Surfer shrugs it off though.

A slow jab from Surfer misses its intended target.
Man tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Surfer was well out of range. Poor timing from Man.

Surfer takes a swing at Man's ribcage but misses.
Man clobbers Surfer with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Surfer shoots in looking for a takedown but Man manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Surfer's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Man digs a good body shot into Surfer's ribs.
Silver Surfer has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Man lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Man jabs Surfer right on the nose. Surfer blinks but takes it well.

And that's the end of the fight!
He Man showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Man, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
