Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joseph Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gaisafa Masoe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Jones might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Alice in Chains - Them Bones. Masoe has chosen Bang On by Boo Yaa Tribe as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Joseph Jones could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Gaisafa Masoe's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A left lands for Masoe.
It looks like Joseph Jones has been cut.
No joy there for Jones, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
A low kick from Jones misses
and Masoe counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Jones takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Masoe looks to throw the jab but Jones is out of range.
Jones throws an off balance right hand
and Masoe counters with an inside leg kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Masoe feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Jones sprawling to the canvas! Jones rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Masoe finish him?!
Jones is rocked!
Jones swings for the body but Masoe moves out of range.
Oh Jones is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Jones uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Masoe.
Jones seems to have got his legs back now.
Jones lands a glancing blow to the side of Masoe's head.
Masoe with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Masoe drops Jones with a naaaaasty hook - Jones is in real trouble here! Masoe dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Gaisafa Masoe!
