The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good exchange - Belich coming out on top.
Belich paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Balare fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Belich avoids it really well and circles away.
Balare fails to land the takedown.
Balare shoots in for a takedown but Belich shows good takedown defense.
Niko Belich has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hector Balare.
Belich lands with a nice body punch.
Balare shoots for a takedown but Belich saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Belich lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

Balare looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Belich is fending him off so far but Balare persists. Nope, Belich circles away and we're back to standing.
Balare is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Belich.
Belich bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Belich feints with a jab and clips Balare right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Balare is sent crashing into the canvas and Belich leaps in for the kill! Balare tries to get to his feet but Belich is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Balare is in need of a savior and steps in!
