Coming up we have a lightweight kickboxing rules bout between Naughtius Maximus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris To Short (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chris To Short told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Chris To Short seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
To Short tries to close the distance and clinch up but Maximus swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Maximus ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! To Short crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Maximus - the referee stops the clock and To Short gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Maximus. To Short manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

To Short on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

The crowd cheers as Maximus lands an impressive looking overhand right. To Short doesn't seem phased though.

Maximus connects with a quick right hand that sends To Short tumbling backwards onto the canvas! As his head bounces into the ropes, it doesn't look good for him beating the count! 3,4,5,6,7 and he's up! No, he's back down again! This one is all over - the referee has called off the fight!

A relieved looking Naughtius Maximus thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
