The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Steve Montenegro and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Dunham is defended easily by O Brien.
Kyle O Brien seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
O Brien turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
O Brien throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Dunham.
Dunham should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Dunham misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Dunham showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from O Brien.
Dunham just misses with a punch to the body.
O Brien circles away from the clinch attempt.
O Brien throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
O Brien lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by O Brien.
It looks like Owen Dunham has been cut.
Dunham throws a series of strikes that have O Brien backpedaling.
Dunham darts in trying to clinch
and O Brien counters with a series of strikes. Dunham will be more careful next time no doubt.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
O Brien throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

and O Brien counters with a two punch combo.
Dunham throws the left hand but O Brien avoids the punch easily.
Dunham misses with a takedown attempt
and O Brien counters with a low kick, right behind Dunham 's knee.

O Brien slaps away a takedown attempt from Dunham, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Kyle O Brien has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Owen Dunham.
O Brien pulls out of a head kick attempt.
O Brien scores with a punch to the head.
O Brien throws a right and a left that Dunham avoids nicely.
O Brien feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Dunhams jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Dunham is rocked!
O Brien lands a big right hook! Dunham looks hurt but is still standing! O Brien lands a left jab and another right hook! This time Dunham falls down and O Brien dives in with a huge hammer fist! Dunham's eyes roll back! The referee calls for the bell and O Brien runs up the cage to celebrate with his fans!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Kyle O Brien!
Kyle O Brien was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
