Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mikael Lindel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Slater (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lindel comes to the cage accompanied by Clawfinger - Biggest & The Best . Slater has chosen Saliva - Ladies and Gentlemen as his entrance music. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mikael Lindel! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
17 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jack Slater! The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Tarja Halkonen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lindel lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Lindel. Lindel fails to land the takedown. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Slater misses with a leg kick. Slater drops Lindel with a beautiful combination! Lindel stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Slater is looking for the KO!
It looks like Mikael Lindel has been cut. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Slater displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Lindel. Slater throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Lindel counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Lindel content to stall in guard here. Slater kicks Lindel off and gets to his feet. Lindel drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Lindel is trying to get an arm triangle but Slater is defending well. Slater is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Slater takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Lindel wants to take a breather but Slater manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Lindel. Lindel trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Lindel is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lindel has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lindel trying to control but Slater is working from the bottom.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Mikael Lindel just wasn't active enough. Lindel stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Slater. Lindel throws a combination. Slater tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
It looks like Jack Slater has been cut. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Lindel gets in close and instigates a clinch. Nice body punch from Slater. Lindel misses with a hook to the ribs.
Slater tries to work over Lindel's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Slater working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Slater is looking to break free of the clinch but Lindel has double underhooks. Slater breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. A jab from Lindel finds it's way through Slater's defenses. Lindel shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lindel swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Slater lands a head shot. Lindel fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Good exchange - Slater coming out on top.
Mikael Lindel's cut is getting worse. Lindel has taken the fight to the clinch.
Lindel tries to score a body lock takedown but Slater shows good agility there to stay on his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mikael Lindel. That's going to take a lot out of him. Slater fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Slater has had enough of the clinch but Lindel keeps him there for the moment. Slater tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Slater lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Slater blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Slater dips a shoulder and cracks Lindel with a mighty uppercut! Lindel falls back against the cage and Slater unloads with a barrage of strikes! Lindel is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Slater screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jack Slater! An out of breath Jack Slater thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
