Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Private Pile (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randy Randall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pile's entrance music is Jelly Doughnut. A fine choice. Private Pile has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Private Pile!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Randy Randall!
The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Viktor Lagutenko and Illya Tyunina.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Randall throws a head kick but Pile moves out of range.
Randall takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Randall misses with a few strikes there.
Randall takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Randall displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Pile throws out the jab.
Pile chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Randall can pounce on him.
Pile tries a head kick but it misses.
Randall throws a leg kick but Pile moved away.
Pile leaves Randall with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Pile throws a low kick but it's checked well by Randall.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Randall.
Pile cracks Randall with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Randall scores with the left hand. Pile knows he should have avoided that one.

Pile gets caught flat footed, as Randall shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Randall stays in close to Pile's body and controls the position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Randall tries to free his leg and advance position but Pile is retaining full guard.
Randall is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Randall pushes down on Pile's leg and manages to get into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Randall is trying to control the action in half guard but Pile is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Randall seems to be looking for submissions.
Pile trying to control but Randall postures up.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Randall trying to control the action but Pile is working from the bottom.
Pile won't allow Randall to pass to mount.
Randall is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Pile is looking for a sweep. Randall is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Pile is trying to stand back up but Randall is controlling him
Pile controlling the position for now.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Randy Randall hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Pile throws a nice outside leg kick.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Jab, jab by Pile - just one landing.
Randall looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Pile is fending him off so far but Randall persists. Nope, Pile circles away and we're back to standing.
Private Pile has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Randy Randall.
Pile misses with a wild combination.
Private Pile seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jab by Pile.
No joy there for Pile, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Pile throws an ugly left hook that misses

and Randall holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Pile missing with knees to the body.
Pile tries to land a knee to the head but Randall blocks with his arms.
Pile is trying to maintain a safe position but Randall gets an underhook and turns Pile into the cage.

Randall has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Pile clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Randall is looking for the choke from the back position but Pile is controlling his hands well.
Well, with Randall on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Pile is tapping out... Can he escape the position?

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Pile is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
Randall is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.

Randall is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Pile has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

Pile is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Randall gets his way!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Pile tries to roll but Randall sticks to his back.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Randy Randall dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


A combination from Pile does no damage.
Nice takedown defense from Pile. No joy for Randall on that attempt.
Randall scores with a crisp jab that stopped Pile in his tracks.
Pile takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Private Pile is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Randall fails to land with a series of punches.
Randall needs to keep his hands up - Pile had a free shot at his head there.
Randall shoots in but no luck this time.
Pile swings for the body but Randall moves out of range.
Randall feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Pile's calf.
Randall uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Pile.
Randall tries to clinch up.
Pile swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

so Randall counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Randall trying to control but Pile is working from the bottom.

Randall passes Pile's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Randall wants to free his trapped foot but Pile is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Randall is just content to waste time from the top position. Pile takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
Pile has Randall pulled in close to control his posture.
Randall wants to control from the top but Pile keeps moving.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Randall wants to pass the guard but Pile is keeping the position.

Pile is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Randall is controlling him.

Pile wants to control but Randall is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Pile looking for submissions from an awkward position here.

Randall is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Pile has managed to free his arm - good work.
Pile is pressing down on Randall's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Randall showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
Randall looking to sit in guard and control but Pile gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Randall looking for a sweep. Not yet Randall, not yet.
Randall is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Randall wants to lay and pray for a moment but Pile keeps working.
Pile tries to get to full guard but Randall has control of the leg.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Pile keeping control of the position.
Well, if Randall is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Randy Randall showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!


Pile throws a body punch but Randall moves out of range.

Randall looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Randall is keen to just control but Pile is a slippery customer.
Randy Randall has got the better of the ground game so far.
Pile moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Randall preventing the sweep.
Randall would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Pile bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Randall's guard.
Randall wants to sweep here but Pile controlling him for the moment.
Pile wants to pass the guard but Randall is keeping the position.
Randall looking for a sweep. Not yet Randall, not yet.

Randall is looking for a triangle but Pile pushes his legs off easily.
Randall is trying to control the position but Pile postures up.

Pile avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Pile in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Pile scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Pile stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Randall swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Pile missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

Randall working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Pile doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Pile manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Pile with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Randall wants to sweep but no luck.

Randall looking for a guillotine here but Pile defends easily.
Pile connects with a couple of short punches.
Pile stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Randall swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Randall has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Pile should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Randall has tightened it up now! Pile should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Randy Randall!
Randy Randall decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
