The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Silva has closed the distance and engaged Wulf in a clinch.
Silva manages to pull guard.
Silva has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Wulf can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wulf trying to control the position from guard on top but Silva is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Silva escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Wulf gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Wulf throws a big right hand that misses.
Wulf thows a big elbow that misses.

Wulf trying to control but Silva is working from the bottom.
Wulf looking to sit in guard and control but Silva gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Wulf seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Silva tries to free his leg and advance position but Wulf is retaining full guard.
Silva is pushing down on Wulf's leg trying to pass to half guard. Wulf is fighting to maintain full guard but Silva has managed to sneak the leg through.

Wulf wants to control but Silva is having none of it.

Silva goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Wulf is on top in guard.

Wulf tries to control but Silva wriggling away.
Silva wants to hold on but Wulf pushes him away.
Silva is squirming around, avoiding Wulf's attempts to control the action.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Klaus Wulf just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
Silva tries to clinch but Wulf moves out of range.
Wulf looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Silva!

Wulf can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Silva is looking to escape.

Silva tries to reverse the position but Wulf maintains control.

Wulf lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Silva is squirming around, avoiding Wulf's attempts to control the action.

Wulf throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Silva has his hands clasped together but Wulf breaks the hold and Silva is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Wulf!
