Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Migeal Quintes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nico Parcon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Parcon comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Remember the name kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 9 - 1, fighting out of New York, Migeal Quintes! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 13 - 1, fighting out of New York, Nico Parcon! The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, John Kavanagh and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Quintes takes the fight into the clinch. Quintes breaks the clinch.
Quintes shoots for a double leg takedown but Parcon sprawls well. He's pushed Quintes's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Quintes moves in looking to clinch but Parcon pushes him off. Parcon misses with a double jab.
Parcon misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Quintes takes the fight into the clinch. Quintes breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Parcon will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Quintes tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Parcon throws a left and a right that both miss
and Quintes counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Quintes wants to pass the guard but Parcon is keeping the position. Quintes is working hard here to advance position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Quintes trying to control but Parcon is working from the bottom. Parcon wants to get back to his feet but Quintes is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Quintes throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Parcon keeping moving, preventing Quintes from controlling successfully.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Migeal Quintes just wasn't active enough. Quintes slips a jab from Parcon.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Parcon dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Nico Parcon is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Parcon gets caught napping as Quintes dives in and scores a takedown. Parcon manages to retain guard. Quintes loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Parcon keeping moving, preventing Quintes from controlling successfully. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Quintes is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Parcon is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
That's three minutes gone in the round. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Migeal Quintes has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Parcon throws a body punch but Quintes moves out of range. The fight stays on the outside here - Quintes looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Quintes closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Quintes lands in his opponent's guard. Quintes throwing strikes but missing. Parcon keeping moving, preventing Quintes from controlling successfully.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Parcon is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Parcon can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Quintes controls the pace.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Migeal Quintes wasn't doing enough on the ground. Quintes shoots in for a takedown and gets it. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Parcon is staying active underneath Quintes, who seems content to just control the action from this position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Migeal Quintes dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Quintes fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Parcon throws a body punch but Quintes moves out of range. Quintes shoots in looking for a takedown but Parcon manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Quintes's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Parcon throws a looping overhand right but Quintes ducks down to avoid it. Parcon misses with a few strikes there.
Quintes moves into range and clinches up with Parcon. Quintes tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Parcon just stands there and leans against the cage. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Migeal Quintes. That's going to take a lot out of him. Quintes pulls guard. Parcon with a flurry of punches that miss. Parcon postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Quintes keeping full guard, as Parcon tries to pass. Parcon has gone for a leg lock! Quintes slips out almost immediately though and dives into Parcon's guard. Quintes trying to control but Parcon is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Quintes is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Quintes wants to control from the top but Parcon keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Migeal Quintes just wasn't active enough. Parcon throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Quintes counters with a nice leg kick. Quintes showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Parcon.
Parcon goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
It looks like Migeal Quintes has been cut. Migeal Quintes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Quintes displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Parcon throws out the jab. Parcon loads up on a big right hand but Quintes slips the punch. Parcon misses with the combination.
Parcon throws a series of punches but Quintes avoids them all with ease. Quintes lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Quintes. Parcon scores with a one two! Quintes had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Quintes throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Parcon. Parcon throws a right and a left that both miss. Migeal Quintes is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Quintes tries for a takedown but Parcon sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Parcon will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Quintes keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Parcon. Parcon punishes Quintes's body with a nice straight punch. Parcon keeps the fight on the outside. Parcon fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Quintes manages to avoid it. Quintes fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Parcon has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Parcon connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Quintes's hands. Quintes with a poor takedown and Parcon counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Quintes showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Parcon.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Parcon lands with a good body shot. Parcon stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Parcon wants it to stay on the feet. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Parcon lands with a good body shot. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Parcon scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Quintes throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Quintes. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Left hook, right uppercut from Parcon.
Migeal Quintes's cut is getting worse. Quintes manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Parcon on his heels. He'll look to pass Parcon's guard now, I'm sure. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nico Parcon showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Migeal Quintes's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

and Quintes counters with a one-two to the body. Quintes gets the takedown into side control. Quintes slows the pace down. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Parcon is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Quintes tries to move into full mount but can't pass Parcon's legs. Quintes trying to control the position but Parcon is working away.

Quintes looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Parcon is staying active underneath Quintes, who seems content to just control the action from this position. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Migeal Quintes. Quintes shoots in for a double leg but Parcon sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Quintes throws a hook to the side of Parcon's head but Parcon sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Parcon misses with a two punch combination.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Parcon slaps away a takedown attempt from Quintes, before circling back to the center of the mat. Quintes tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Parcon manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. A combination from Parcon does no damage. Quintes tries to clinch but Parcon moves out of range. Parcon cracks Quintes with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Quintes slips a jab and a cross from Parcon.
Nico Parcon seems to be getting the better of the standup. Parcon avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Parcon stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Parcon wants it to stay on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Migeal Quintes. That's going to take a lot out of him. A looping hook to the body misses from Parcon. Quintes does a little dance to reset his feet. Horrible takedown by Quintes or perhaps it was just good defense by Parcon which made him look bad. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Quintes shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sloppy strikes from Parcon. Those never looked like landing. Parcon throws a series of punches but Quintes moves out of range. Quintes fails with a takedown attempt. Parcon displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Parcon misses with a body shot.
Parcon throws a right hand that Quintes ducks under and follows up with a left that Quintes also avoids with ease. Parcon misses with a few strikes there.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Quintes throws a leg kick but Parcon moved away. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Quintes doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Parcon throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Parcon bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Quintes's head backwards.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Migeal Quintes. I think Quintes has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
