The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chulainn throws a shot from downtown. Vandelay moves away and avoids it.
Vandelay throws a sloppy head kick and Chulainn moves out of range easily.
Vandelay jabbing away but nothing is landing.
A slow jab from Chulainn misses its intended target.
Chulainn moves out of range as Vandelay throws a body kick.
Chulainn misses with a wild body shot.
Chulainn steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Vandelay. That one must have hurt.
Chulainn fails in his attempt to clinch.
Vandelay tries a head kick but it misses.
Chulainn takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Chulainn dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Chulainn lands a nice shot to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

It looks like Cu Chulainn has been cut.

and Chulainn connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Chulainn jabs Vandelay right on the nose. Vandelay blinks but takes it well.

Vandelay motions for Chulainn to come forward. Vandelay throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Vandelay just misses with a punch to the body.

Chulainn keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Vandelay's efforts to push away.
Vandelay's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
