The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clayton throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Suraski misses with a takedown attempt
and Clayton counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Clayton throws a quick inside leg kick.
A punch combination from Suraski misses.
An inside leg kick lands from Clayton.

Clayton rushes Suraski and presses him up against the cage.
Clayton will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Suraski up against the cage.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Clayton finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Clayton leaves Suraski with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Suraski throws a right hand that Clayton ducks under and follows up with a left that Clayton also avoids with ease.
Clayton lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Clayton lands with a thumping leg kick.
A slapping leg kick lands for Clayton.

Suraski gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Clayton lands a big elbow and you can see that really hurt Suraski! Clayton senses the opportunity and scores with more strikes - he's put Suraski out! The ref tackles him out of the way to prevent him landing more strikes - this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Ethan Clayton!
Ethan Clayton took to the mic in his post fight interview and said 'Everyone can be beaten. Question is: how many times can you afford to lose?'.
