Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Justin Allen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Summers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Allen comes to the cage accompanied by Firestarter by Prodigy. Jason Summers will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jason Summers!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Allen doesn't manage to clinch there - Summers circles away.
Allen lands with a kick to the ribs.
Allen misses with a double jab.
Allen fails with the takedown.
Allen shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Summers but Summers pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Allen tries to clinch up but Summers circles away and keeps his distance.
Allen throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Justin Allen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Allen shoots in and drives through. Summers sprawls well.

Allen is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Allen is looking for a kimura but Summers is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Allen to get the leverage.

Jason Summers showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.


Allen tries to close the distance and clinch up but Summers swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Allen is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Summers has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Allen fails to advance to Summers's back.

Allen looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Allen throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Summers because Allen loaded up on that one.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Jason Summers.
I think Summers has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
