Fire comes to the cage accompanied by Skrillex - Ruffneck. Monroe has chosen Let The Bodys Hit The Floor as his entrance music. Joe Monroe has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Frankie Fire!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Joe Monroe!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Donatello Bradman and Bruno Hogan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Monroe shoots in looking for a takedown but Fire manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Monroe's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Fire rushes Monroe and presses him up against the cage.
Fire is trying to push Monroe away but Monroe has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Fire presses Monroe against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Fire lands a left hand that snaps the head of Monroe backwards.
A frustrated look appears on Monroe's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Fire scores with an uppercut up the middle.


It looks like Joe Monroe has been cut.
Monroe is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Monroe is trying to pull guard but Fire turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Fire scores with a shot to the side of Monroe's head.
Still in the clinch, Fire scores with a nice short uppercut.
Fire blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Fire wants to break free but Monroe has control.
Monroe is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Fire lands a hook that snaps the head of Monroe backwards.
Fire has Monroe pressed against the cage, preventing Monroe from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Fire creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Fire pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Fire clinches with his opponent.
Monroe has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Monroe misses with an elbow strike.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A right hand to the body from Fire.
Monroe looks gassed!
Monroe has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Fire presses Monroe against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Monroe can't break the clinch.
Fire looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Monroe wants to break the clinch but can't.

Monroe breaks from the clinch.

Fire cracks Monroe with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Fire has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Monroe to stand back up!


Monroe is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Fire drives through and clinches with Monroe against the cage.
Monroe is still on wobbly legs! Can Fire finish him?
Fire creates some distance for himselfand unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Monroe's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Monroe drops to his knees and Fire pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Frankie Fire!
Frankie Fire decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
