The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boshesh tries to keep at a distance but Van Damm has taken the fight into the clinch.

Van Damm has Boshesh pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Boshesh is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Van Damm - that's hurt Boshesh badly! Oh, another knee lands and Boshesh is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Boshesh doesn't seem to be complaining.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knees). Jean Claude Van Damm!
A less than humble Jean Claude Van Damm misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
