Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ben Hall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kazushi Sakuraba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ben Hall had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sakuraba loads up on a big right hand but Hall slips the punch.
Kazushi Sakuraba seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hall has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Sakuraba.
Sakuraba wants to clinch
and Hall counters with a nice uppercut.
Hall on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Sakuraba. Sakuraba obviously looking to wear him down.
Sakuraba lands a lovely overhand right.
Sakuraba lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Sakuraba tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Hall takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Sakuraba lands a nice looking body kick.
Hall dips to his left and cracks Sakuraba with an uppercut!
Hall steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Sakuraba. That one must have hurt.
Hall is breathing heavily.

and Sakuraba counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Sakuraba lets loose with a powerful body kick. Hall will feel that in the morning.

Hall on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Sakuraba lands with a kick to the ribs.
Sakuraba throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Hall's head.

Sakuraba throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Hall.

Hall looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Sakuraba is fending him off so far but Hall persists. Nope, Sakuraba circles away and we're back to standing.

Sakuraba fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Hall has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

A nice left hand lands by Sakuraba.
Sakuraba doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Hall wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Sakuraba has him pressed against the cage.
Sakuraba lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Hall or not.
Sakuraba works on Hall's body with a couple of short punches.
Sakuraba stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Sakuraba throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Halls head.
Sakuraba lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.

Sakuraba digs a right hand into Hall's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Hall's gas tank.
Hall will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body.

Sakuraba makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Sakuraba lands with a left to the head.
Sakuraba keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Hall's efforts to push away.

Sakuraba lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Hall tries to break the clinch but Sakuraba is controlling the position.

Sakuraba throws a big uppercut that drops Hall! More strikes from Sakuraba and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Hall lies dazed against the cage as Sakuraba celebrates with his cornermen!
