Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Eastmond (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Eastmond comes to the cage accompanied by Nelly- Here Comes The Boom . I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Nick Diaz was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
25 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Ryan Eastmond! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Nick Diaz! The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Skip Squint and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Eastmond misses with a few strikes there.
Diaz has a takedown stuffed. Diaz on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
It looks like Nick Diaz has been cut. Eastmond stuffs the takedown attempt from Diaz. Diaz gets slowly back to his feet. Eastmond swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. The fighters circling - Eastmond throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Eastmond throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Eastmond tries to bum rush Diaz with a series of wild strikes but Diaz uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Diaz misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Ryan Eastmond has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nick Diaz. A jab from Eastmond misses. Eastmond misses with a wild combination.
Diaz shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Diaz preventing the sweep. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Diaz throwing strikes but missing. Eastmond is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Diaz accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Diaz postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Eastmond is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Diaz, into his guard. Eastmond trying to control the position from guard on top but Diaz is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Eastmond working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Diaz working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Eastmond doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Eastmond manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Diaz throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Eastmond thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Diaz working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Eastmond doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Eastmond manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Diaz looking for submissions from an awkward position here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Eastmond lands strikes from half guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Diaz looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Diaz looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Diaz is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Eastmond pulls his head out easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Eastmond wants to control but Diaz is keeping him busy. Eastmond controlling the action here. Eastmond works his way into side control. Diaz tries to bench press Eastmond off him but Eastmond keeps the position. Eastmond in side control lands a decent elbow. Diaz striking from the bottom but nothing landed.
Eastmond lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Diaz down.

Diaz is looking to reverse the position. Diaz gets back to half guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Eastmond is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Eastmond trying to control from half guard but Diaz is working away. Diaz is in trouble now - Eastmond has advanced to mount! Eastmond is in the full mount, landing strikes. Diaz manages to regain half guard. Good work. Diaz is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Eastmond pulls his head out easily. Diaz missing with punches from the bottom.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Eastmond prevents Diaz from improving his position. Eastmond has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Eastmond seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ryan Eastmond dominated that round. The cut man is working on Nick Diaz's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Eastmond lands a big head kick that sends Diaz tumbling to the mat! Eastmond takes a step backwards and waves Diaz back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Diaz is rocked! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Eastmond fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Diaz to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Diaz looks to clinch but Eastmond throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Diaz taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:08 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Ryan Eastmond! Ryan Eastmond retains his welterweight title! Ryan Eastmond gave a mention to KAISER in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
