and Segura counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Segura stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lefloer swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Lefloer is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Segura stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lefloer swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Segura stands and throws Lefloer's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Lefloer gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

Segura wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Lefloer, who protects the arm well.

so Segura counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Segura slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Segura is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Lefloer is aware though and is defending well.

Segura is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Lefloer has his hands clasped together but Segura extends an breaks Lefloer's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Segura.
