Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vesa Konkari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Per Aukko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Per Aukko enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Vesa Konkari! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Per Aukko! The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Konkari shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Konkari can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Aukko is looking to escape. Aukko manages to regain half guard. Good work. Konkari landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Konkari is keen to just control but Aukko is a slippery customer. Konkari could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Konkari wants to work for an arm triangle but Aukko is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Konkari has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Aukko gets back to full guard.
Konkari trying to control but Aukko is working from the bottom. Aukko is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Konkari working some strikes from top position. Konkari drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Konkari jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Konkari looking to pass the guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Konkari stands and throws Aukko's legs to the side, diving into side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Aukko is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Aukko is trying to get back to his feet. Konkari is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Aukko knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Aukko prevents Konkari from moving into mount. Konkari is breathing heavily. Aukko takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Konkari is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Aukko is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Konkari tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Aukko is trying to buck Konkari off. Aukko tries to improve position but can't. Aukko gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Aukko keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Aukko tries to get to full guard but Konkari has control of the leg. Konkari is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Aukko tries to close the distance and clinch up but Konkari swats him away and circles back towards the center. Aukko throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Konkari crumples to the floor and the fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:03 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Per Aukko!
