Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nick Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antonio Pinto Pinto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Diaz comes into the arena with Edo. G - Like That blaring out of the sound system. Pinto has chosen Bibiano Fernandes Highlights [HELLO JAPAN] as his entrance music. The key to victory for Nick Diaz has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Nick Diaz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Antonio Pinto Pinto!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Vladimir Khabensky.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Diaz stuns Pinto with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Pinto shoots in looking for a takedown but Diaz manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Pinto's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Diaz wants to take a breather but Pinto is having none of it.

Diaz stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Pinto swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Diaz will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Pinto is refusing to be controlled, as Diaz sits in half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Diaz wants to control from the top but Pinto keeps moving.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Diaz uses his free foot to push down on Pinto's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Pinto.

Diaz shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Pinto eats them both and turns towards Diaz to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Pinto takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Diaz throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Pinto on the side of the head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Diaz lands the left hand.
Diaz cracks Pinto with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Pinto tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Diaz pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Pinto is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:13 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Nick Diaz!
Nick Diaz made sure to give a little speech post fight, saying 'I think smoking pot is good for mixed martial artists. It’s a new day and age, this is, uh, the year … Fuck year is it? I don’t know, because I’ve been training and smoking pot like I should, instead of paying attention to other bullshit, which I don’t do.'.
