PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Beck Bom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chael Sonnen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sonnen comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Iron Maiden Fear of the Dark kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Bom.

Bom throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Sonnen tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Bom is in Sonnen 's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Sonnen is looking to stand up but Bom isn't so interested in that idea.

Bom is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Sonnen defends it well.
Sonnen pushes Bom off looking to stand but Bom dives back in and keeps control.

Bom is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Sonnen can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Bom cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Sonnen is in a horrible position here. Bom smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Bom is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Sonnen is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Sonnen flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Bom anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Sonnen and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Bom slips an arm under Sonnen chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Bom has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Bom is squeezing on Sonnen like an anaconda would it's prey. Sonnen fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
