Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chang Sun Son (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bong Ki Duk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Son comes to the cage accompanied by Deftones- Be quiet and drive. Ki Duk has chosen north korea's national anthem as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Chang Sun Son! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Bong Ki Duk! The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A looping hook to the body misses from Son. Ki Duk does a little dance to reset his feet. Ki Duk rushes Son and presses him up against the cage. Ki Duk misses with a punch to the body.
Son has had enough of the clinch but Ki Duk keeps him there for the moment. Son wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Ki Duk has him pressed against the cage. Son manages to break the clinch.
Ki Duk walks into a straight right hand from Son.
It looks like Bong Ki Duk has been cut. Son catches Ki Duk with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Ki Duk tries to clinch there but Son circles away.
Son scores with a jab to the jaw. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Son misses with a few strikes there.
Son slips a jab and a cross from Ki Duk.

Ki Duk looks to clinch and Son counters with a left to the body. Ki Duk closes the distance looking to clinch and Son cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Ki Duk uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Son.

That's one minute gone in the round. Ki Duk doesn't manage to clinch there - Son circles away.
Ki Duk tries to clinch up. Ki Duk moves in looking to clinch but Son pushes him off. Son thows a left - swing and a miss! Ki Duk tries to close the distance and clinch but Son swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Bong Ki Duk seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ki Duk tries to clinch but fails miserably and Son counters with a straight right hand. Ki Duk tries to bum rush Son with a series of wild strikes but Son uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Son swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Ki Duk avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Ki Duk darts in trying to clinch and Son makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Ki Duk wants to clinch up but Son keeps it at a distance. Ki Duk slips under a jab. Son is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
That has opened up Bong Ki Duk's cut even more. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! A big left from Son misses. Son blocks a head kick by Ki Duk.
Son circles away from the clinch attempt and Ki Duk takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ki Duk misses with a combination
and Son counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
The cut above Bong Ki Duk's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Ki Duk bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Ki Duk uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Son. Son misses with a double jab.
Son scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Son looks to score with a jab to the body but Ki Duk is just out of range. Ki Duk takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. A telegraphed right hand from Son misses the target. Son throws a right and a left that both miss. Son is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Son scores with a nice head shot. Son fails to land with a series of punches.

Bong Ki Duk's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Bong Ki Duk's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Chang Sun Son! Chang Sun Son really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Hell's Kitchen Lab Corp (159.49 $75) logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
