Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eric Bush (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Eric Bush! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Paul Stone! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Daniel Bishop and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bush shoots for a takedown but Stone saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Stone fails with an attempt to clinch.
Bush fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Bush shoots in looking for a takedown. Stone tries to sprawl out of it but Bush keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Stone manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Eric Bush. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bush throws a hook but Stone avoids it easily. Bush keeps the fight on the outside. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bush takes one on the chin but seems OK.

That's one minute gone in the round. Bush looking to control and managing it successfully. Bush manages to capitalize on a mistake by Stone to take his back! Stone rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Stone is refusing to be controlled, as Bush sits in half guard. Bush controlling the action here. Bush is looking for a kimura but Stone is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Bush to get the leverage. Bush tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Stone. Stone actively working from the bottom here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Stone tries to roll over but Bush keeps him under control. Stone trying to control from the bottom.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Stone tries to clinch but Bush is having none of it. Stone doesn't succeed with the takedown and Bush cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Stone with a poor takedown and Bush counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Stone! Bush could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Bush tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. A nice elbow there by Bush. Stone looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back! Stone is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stone is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Bush.

Bush trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Stone doesn't escape. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. You can see the frustration on Stone's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Stone looks gassed! Bush biding his time, controlling Stone. Bush lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by Bush.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Stone turns into Bush and is now in his guard.
Stone lands a couple of elbows. Bush manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Bush is working for a guillotine from mount but Stone frees his head quite easily.

Bush lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Stone hang on? Stone is wriggling around trying to escape.
Bush cracks Stone with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Eric Bush dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Stone stuffs the takedown. Bush fails with the takedown and Stone counters with a series of strikes. Bush will be more careful next time no doubt. Bush shoots in for a takedown but Stone shows good takedown defense. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Eric Bush. That's going to take a lot out of him. Stone tries to clinch but Bush is having none of it. Bush tries to clinch and Bush takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Stone fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Bush on the side of the head. Eric Bush is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Bush fails with the takedown and Stone counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Stone. Stone postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stone slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Stone thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Bush is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Stone has just dragged him back down to the mat. Stone in side control, throwing shots but Bush defends. Stone must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Bush has his hands on Stone's head, controlling the position. Stone trying to control the position from guard on top but Bush is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Bush working for a triangle but Stone defends it easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bush is trying to keep Stone in close.
Stone scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Stone drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Bush manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Stone has Bush in his guard. Eric Bush overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Bush pushes down on Stone's leg and manages to get into half guard. Stone is staying active underneath Bush, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Bush is pressing down on Stone's thigh, looking to free his foot. Stone is holding on for now.

No, Bush escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by Bush! Stone tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Bush easily slips into full mount! Bush working Stone over with strikes here. Stone defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Bush. Bush looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Stone is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Bush goes for an armbar but Stone turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Stone. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Paul Stone showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Stone misses with a takedown and Bush counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Stone working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bush doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bush manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Bush is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Stone looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Bush seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Stone takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bush slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Bush is chipping away with strikes.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Eric Bush just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Thud! ouch! good body kick from Stone - that will leave a mark!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stone throws a combination that misses and Bush counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bush passes Stone's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Bush frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Bush controlling from the full mount. Stone is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Stone tries to hold on but Bush postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bush has control of Stone's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Stone regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Bush stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing. Horrible takedown by Bush or perhaps it was just good defense by Stone which made him look bad. Stone will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Bush darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bush is looking to advance position but Stone won't allow it. Bush is controlling the pace.
Stone is staying active underneath Bush, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Bush is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Stone is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Stone wants to improve his position but Bush is controlling well.
Bush is pressing down on Stone's thigh, looking to free his foot. Stone is holding on for now.
