Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Rabbit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rob Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rabbit comes into the arena with Hero by Skillet blaring out of the sound system. Gracie has chosen Apaga Nao Bate as his entrance music. Johnny Rabbit has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Paul Tew and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rabbit stuffs the takedown attempt from Gracie. Gracie gets slowly back to his feet.
Rabbit clinches up with Gracie and pushes him back against the cage.
Gracie has Rabbit pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Rabbit manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Rabbit unloads a knee to the mid-section. Gracie lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Rabbit using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Gracie has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Gracie is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Gracie is working for takedown but Rabbit is calmly controlling the position for now.
Johnny Rabbit has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rob Gracie.
