Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Shane Doby (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Castle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Doby comes to the cage accompanied by International Players Anthem. Castle has chosen Don't worry, Be happy as his entrance music. Frank Castle will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Shane Doby! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
16 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Frank Castle! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Robert Douchet and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Doby with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Castle to score with a decent uppercut. Doby throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Doby scores with a push kick. Doby lands with an overhand left. Doby misses with a hook to the body
and Castle counters with a nice uppercut. Castle cracks Doby with a good jab. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Doby takes a swing at Castle's ribcage but misses. Doby shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Castle sprawls well. Castle wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Doby gets slowly back to his feet. Castle cracks Doby with an open hand slap.
That's one minute gone in the round. Doby misses the body punch and Castle counters with a left to the body. Doby looks to score with a jab to the body but Castle is just out of range. Doby ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Doby tries to score a power double leg takedown but Castle sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Doby somewhat. A looping hook to the body misses from Doby. Castle does a little dance to reset his feet. Castle is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.

Doby misses with a looping left. Castle throws the left hand but Doby avoids the punch easily. Doby looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Castle has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Jab from Castle. A bone on bone clash there as Castle blocks the leg kick.

Doby acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Doby tries to clinch but Castle is having none of it. Doby is looking to wear down Castle with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Doby changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Doby misses with a shot to the body and Castle counters with a series of strikes. Doby will be more careful next time no doubt. Nice sprawl there from Castle as Doby shoots in. Doby throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Castle jabs Doby right on the nose. Doby blinks but takes it well. Castle might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Doby throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Castle, as that shot connected.

and Castle connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Doby fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Castle manages to avoid it. Doby on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Doby throws a hook but Castle blocks it. Doby misses with a hook
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Doby throws a leg kick which misses Castle's front leg but catches the back leg as Castle tries to avoid it. Castle uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Doby.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Doby walks into a left hand. Castle keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Castle ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Doby moves away. Doby fails miserably with a takedown attempt. A slow jab from Doby misses its intended target. Doby takes a body punch but keeps moving. Castle uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Doby.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Doby shoots in for a takedown but Castle shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Doby throws a low kick, looking for Castle's leg but Castle calmly moves out of range. Doby misses with a low kick as Castle jumps back. Frank Castle is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Doby just misses with a punch to the body.
Castle scores with a crisp jab that stopped Doby in his tracks. Castle keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Doby throws a front kick aimed at Castle's knee but Castle avoids it well. Doby tries to work over Castle's front leg with a kick but Castle checks it. Castle jabs Doby right on the nose. Doby blinks but takes it well. Castle swinging wildly here.
Castle throws an overhand right that lands on Doby's shoulder, as Doby tries to avoid the shot. Doby swings and misses with a hook to the body.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Doby misses with a body shot
and Castle counters with a right hand to the body. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Shane Doby will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

That's four minutes gone in the round. Doby thows a body shot but no joy. Doby slips a jab from Castle. Doby shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Castle as he avoids it easily. Doby thows a leg kick but Castle checks it and Castle counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Shane Doby is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Doby throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. A low kick from Doby is predictable there and Castle counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Doby lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Doby. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Doby looks to score with a jab to the body but Castle is just out of range.
And that's the end of the fight! Shane Doby showed his dominance in that final round. Well Doby has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
