Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Peter Nicholls (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alejandro Nochebuena (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Alejandro Nochebuena!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Eliza Hachem and Skip Squint.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nochebuena misses with a double jab

and Nicholls counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Nochebuena!
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Nicholls cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Nochebuena is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Nochebuena escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Nicholls gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Nochebuena is looking for a sweep. Nicholls is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
