Pound instigates a clinch.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Galaxy has eaten all the pies!

Pound lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Pound gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Pound lands an elbow that stopped Galaxy in his tracks for a moment.
That has opened up Patrick Galaxy's cut even more.
Pound tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Galaxy avoids it.
Galaxy blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Pound comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Galaxy is rocked!
The cut above Patrick Galaxy's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Pound has Galaxy pressed against the cage. He pushes Galaxy back and as he springs towards him off the cage, Pound throws a beautiful elbow that sends Galaxy crashing to the floor! Pound piles on the pressure with more strikes! Galaxy is flailing away but he's not defending himself and the referee steps in to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ground Pound!
