Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stanley Corncrab (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cuthbert Alves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Corncrab's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, TV on the Radio - Wolf Like Me. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Corncrab wants to clinch up but Alves keeps it at a distance.
Alves closes this distance looking for a takedown but Corncrab circles away.

Corncrab has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Alves regains guard immediately.
Alves really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Corncrab. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Corncrab wants to lay and pray for a moment but Alves keeps working.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

No joy there for Alves, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Corncrab has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Alves's face.
Alves is controlling an arm, preventing Corncrab from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Corncrab is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Alves is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Corncrab has hold of Alves's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Alves seems comfortable defending it but Corncrab has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Alves is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Alves is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Corncrab couldn't care less - he's delighted!
