Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jackson Briggs!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Timothy Archer!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Archer doesn't succeed with the takedown
letting Briggs counter with a right hand.
Briggs moves into the clinch.
Archer jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Briggs walks away with a smile on his face. Archer gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Briggs takes the fight into the clinch.
Briggs lands a big knee! That's hurt Archer! Oh, he's all over the place! Briggs lands another knee that sends Archer to the floor and the referee steps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jackson Briggs!
After winning the bout, Jackson Briggs thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
