Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between David Tennant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robert Ross (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Robert Ross has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, David Tennant! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Robert Ross! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tennant moves away from the strike by Ross. Tennant takes a swing at Ross's ribcage but misses. A slapping leg kick lands for Ross.
Ross walks into a stiff left hand from Tennant. Tennant staying out of range there. Ross sizes up Tennant with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Tennant throws a right and a left that both miss. Ross scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Tennant is breathing heavily. Ross moves into the clinch successfully.
Ross lands a right hand. Ross working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Ross stalls. Ross lands with a light punch inside. Ross cracks Tennant with a nice body shot. Tennant tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Ross pushes Tennant back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Ross stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Ross lands a vicious elbow to the side of Tennant's head that scrambles his senses and sends him wobbling down to the canvas! Ross tries to finish him with strikes but Tennant still seems able to defend himself so Ross steps back and lets Tennant get back to his feet - he wants no part of the ground game.
It looks like David Tennant has been cut. Tennant takes a shot right to the bread basket.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ross connects with a leg kick. Tennant looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Ross feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Tennant sprawling to the canvas! Tennant rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Ross finish him?!
Tennant is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Ross throws a pinpoint strike between Tennant's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Tennant crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Ross scores a great knockout victory!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Robert Ross! Robert Ross decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
