Smiths tries for a takedown but Grant sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Grant tries to clinch there but Smiths circles away.
Grant drops Smiths with a beautiful combination! Smiths stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Grant is looking for the KO!
It looks like John Smiths has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Grant misses with an uppercut. Smiths saw that one coming.
Grant closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Smiths did well to prevent Grant getting side control.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
