Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Francis Dolarhyde (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Big Ben (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dolarhyde comes to the cage accompanied by I Am The Greatest. Big Ben has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Francis Dolarhyde!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Big Ben!
The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ben throws a leg kick
and Dolarhyde counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Dolarhyde blocks a head kick by Ben.
Ben avoids the body shot from Dolarhyde.
Dolarhyde tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Nice takedown defense from Dolarhyde. No joy for Ben on that attempt.
Dolarhyde throws a low kick but Ben avoids it.
Dolarhyde tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ben swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Ben pivots, looking for a leg kick but Dolarhyde is out of range and Ben settles back down.
Dolarhyde throws a lazy right hand but Ben sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Dolarhyde walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Ben checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Ben fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Dolarhyde is out of range.
Ben slips a straight right by Dolarhyde.
Ben dives in and grabs Dolarhyde's left leg, looking for a takedown. Dolarhyde pushes down on Ben's head and hops out.
Dolarhyde misses with a series of wild punches.
The fight stays on the outside here - Dolarhyde looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Dolarhyde doesn't manage to clinch there - Ben circles away.
Dolarhyde thows a body shot but no joy.
Ben shoots in looking for a takedown but Dolarhyde manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Ben's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Francis Dolarhyde has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Big Ben.

Ben misses with a kick to the body.
Dolarhyde throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Ben bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Ben throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Ben takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Dolarhyde scores with a nice right hand.

Dolarhyde swings for the body but Ben moves out of range.

and Ben decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Dolarhyde's guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Dolarhyde wants to sweep but no luck.

Ben postures up and lands a big shot to Dolarhyde's brow.

Ben avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Dolarhyde is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Ben moves into full guard.
Ben lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Dolarhyde!
Dolarhyde is bucking up trying to escape but Ben cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Ben has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Ben has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Dolarhyde's face.

Ben with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Dolarhyde to score with a decent uppercut.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Ben has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Dolarhyde is working away from the top position though.

Dolarhyde is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Ben sees it coming and defends easily.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Dolarhyde swings for the body but Ben moves out of range.

Ben feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

I think Ben has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
