Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alistair Trash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Green (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Trash has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Alistair Trash! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, David Green! The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Josh West and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A momentary lapse in concentration from Trash enables Green to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Trash manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Green landing some decent shots from guard. Trash is breathing heavily. Green lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Green is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Green's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by David Green. Green drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Green's corner is telling him to maintain position. Green distracts Trash with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Trash trying to control the position.
Green stays in close to Trash's body and controls the position. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
OK we're going to have a standup here. David Green hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Green avoids the head kick by Trash.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Green manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Trash on his heels. He'll look to pass Trash's guard now, I'm sure. Trash can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Green controls the pace. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. David Green wasn't active enough on the ground. Green darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Green looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Green is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Still in half guard, Green seems content to control. Let's hope that Green has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Green scoring with strikes to the body and head. Trash really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by David Green. Green shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Green was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Green looking to control and managing it successfully. Trash takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Green working away from the top, dropping strikes. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Green controlling the pace for now. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Green lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
David Green dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Green changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Trash looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. You can see the frustration on Trash's face as Green controls the position. Green has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Green cracks Trash with a big right hand but Trash just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Green controlling his opponent. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Green lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Trash is rocked! Green looking to control and managing it successfully. Oh Trash is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Trash seems to have got his legs back now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Green cracks Trash with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Green with a couple of short strikes. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Green controlling from the full mount. Green landing punches. Green has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Green sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.

David Green showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!
