The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hrcak darts in and clinches Vielaton up against the cage.
Vielaton tries to circle away but Hrcak has him pinned against the cage.
Hrcak has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Vielaton after a bit of a struggle.
Vielaton has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Hrcak prevents the takedown attempt.
Hrcak takes an elbow to the forehead.
Hrcak keeps control of Vielaton as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Hrcak tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Vielaton just stands there and leans against the cage.
Hrcak drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Vielaton gets the underhooks and prevents it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ljuti Hrcak. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Vielaton tries to break the clinch but Hrcak is controlling the position.

Hrcak's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Hrcak misses with a few strikes there.
Vielaton fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Hrcak closes the distance and lands a one-two.
A nice leg kick lands there from Vielaton.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Hrcak breaks from Vielaton's wrist control and lands an elbow.

Hrcak throws some wild stikes that Vielaton manages to avoid easily.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
