Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Julio Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Azathoth Yog-Sothoth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Silva might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Kanye West - Amazing. Yog-Sothoth has chosen Carol of the Old Ones as his entrance music. Azathoth Yog-Sothoth told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

13 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Azathoth Yog-Sothoth!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Russell Pearce and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yog-Sothoth walks into a jab.
Silva circles away from the clinch attempt
and Yog-Sothoth takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Silva drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Silva creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Silva lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Silva is trying to get an arm triangle but Yog-Sothoth is defending well.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Yog-Sothoth tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Silva wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Silva scores with punches from side control.
Silva is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Yog-Sothoth looks calm but he's in trouble here. Silva gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Yog-Sothoth is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Silva lets go of the hold and Yog-Sothoth can pop his arm back in it's socket.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Julio Silva!
