Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between The Flash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Blaise Lamont (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lamont has chosen Twisted Nerve as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, The Flash! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Blaise Lamont! The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Lou da Vinci and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Good exchange - Flash coming out on top.
It looks like Blaise Lamont has been cut. Lamont chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Flash can pounce on him.
Flash throws a leg kick but Lamont moved away. The fight stays on the outside here - Flash looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Flash tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Flash ducks under a wild hook from Lamont. Flash tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Lamont ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Lamont misses with a straight right. Flash walks into a straight right hand from Lamont. Flash throws a shot from downtown. Lamont moves away and avoids it. Flash keeps Lamont at a distance using the push kick. Flash moves away from the strike by Lamont. Flash slips a straight right by Lamont. This has been an exciting period of action! Flash closes the distance and clinches. Flash tries to throw a body punch but Lamont avoids it by throwing Flash back against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lamont breaks from the clinch.
Flash throws a half hearted mid kick. Flash throws a head kick that Lamont semi-blocks.
Flash darts in and clinches Lamont up against the cage. Flash blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Lamont wants to break the clinch but can't.

Lamont lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Flash backwards.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Flash struggles to land a body shot inside as Lamont controls his hands.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Lamont has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Flash after a bit of a struggle. Flash throws a punch but it's blocked by Lamont. Flash avoiding damage.
Lamont is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Flash is defending well. Lamont is trying to break the clinch but Flash has him pressed against the cage. Flash prevents Lamont from breaking the clinch. Flash misses with some punches.

The Flash has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Blaise Lamont. Flash takes a shot to the head. Lamont goes for a takedown attempt but Flash pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Flash lands with an uppercut that bounces Lamont off the cage and back into range. Flash misses the shot to the body. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Flash.
Flash looks to land a body kick but Lamont moved away. Flash goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Flash throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Nice defenses there by Lamont. Flash misses with a head kick.
Flash gets caught napping as Lamont dives in and scores a takedown. Flash manages to retain guard. Flash is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Flash is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lamont throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Flash works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Lamont tries to free his leg and advance position but Flash is retaining full guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Lamont lands a couple of decent looking shots. Lamont is looking to work some ground and pound but Flash has wrist control. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. That was a close round but I would say that The Flash will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Blaise Lamont's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Lamont avoids the body shot from Flash.
Flash misses with a leg kick. Thud! ouch! good body kick from Flash - that will leave a mark!
Flash lands a nice looking body kick. Lamont fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. The Flash is winning the standup battle so far. Flash throws a sloppy body shot
and Lamont counters with a stiff right hand. Excellent takedown into side control there by Lamont. Lamont wants to lay and pray for a moment but Flash keeps working. Lamont tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Lamont misses with the ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lamont trying to control the position but Flash is working away. Flash is looking to regain half guard here but Lamont keeps moving and retains side control. Lamont is looking to take a break and control but Flash is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lamont working the strikes but Flash uses the opportunity to regain half guard. Lamont tries to pass to full mount but Flash defends it. Flash wants to get back to full guard. Lamont throws a strike but Flash avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Flash pulls Lamont in to control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lamont wants to control from the top but Flash keeps moving. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lamont throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Flash works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Blaise Lamont has got the better of the ground game so far. Lamont throws a big elbow that misses. Lamont passes Flash's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Lamont looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Flash with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Lamont is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Lamont tries to pass the half guard into mount. Flash knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Lamont drops an elbow to the side of Flash's head.

Blaise Lamont showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Blaise Lamont's cut. That's time! Flash's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
A combination from Lamont does no damage. Lamont tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Lamont takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Flash connects with a leg kick. Lamont looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Flash slips a straight right by Lamont. Lamont cracks Flash with an open hand slap. Flash throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Flash dodges the punch combination from Lamont.
Flash misses with a looping right. Flash turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. No joy there for Lamont, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Lamont scores with a nice strike. Flash fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Lamont checks it well. Flash lands a leg kick that knocks Lamont off balance momentarily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lamont uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Flash. Flash plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Lamont shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Lamont showed some decent athleticism there. Flash is trying to control but can't.
Lamont is pressing down on Flash's thigh, looking to free his foot. Flash is holding on for now. Lamont passes the guard and advances to mount! Lamont looking to ground and pound but Flash is blocking nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lamont is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Lamont extends the arm and Flash is forced to tap!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:28 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Blaise Lamont! A relieved looking Blaise Lamont thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
