Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rafael BayawaK (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gimpy McWimpy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). BayawaK's entrance music is Dayang-dayang. A fine choice. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Gimpy McWimpy! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Shirou Masuda and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! BayawaK gets the takedown into side control. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. McWimpy is trying to get back to half guard. BayawaK is trying to get an arm triangle but McWimpy is defending well. McWimpy manages to work his way to half guard, despite BayawaK's best efforts. BayawaK performing his best blanket impression for a moment. McWimpy avoiding damage under a succession of punches from BayawaK. BayawaK knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for McWimpy on the ground. Nice strikes from BayawaK there.
It looks like Gimpy McWimpy has been cut. BayawaK scoring with strikes to the body and head.
That has opened up Gimpy McWimpy's cut even more. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! McWimpy looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. McWimpy regains full guard. Nicely done. BayawaK slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. BayawaK ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Gimpy McWimpy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. McWimpy misses with a looping right.
That's two minutes gone in the round. BayawaK bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. McWimpy can't do much from the bottom here. McWimpy is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on BayawaK's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. McWimpy looking for submissions off his back. McWimpy looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. McWimpy lands one or two decent shots to the body here. Although from his own half guard, he's not going to be causing too much damage. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! BayawaK is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. McWimpy is trying to get back to full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McWimpy is pressing down on BayawaK's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. McWimpy working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. BayawaK doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. BayawaK manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. BayawaK tries to free his leg and advance position but McWimpy is retaining full guard. BayawaK controlling from the top position. BayawaK with a flurry of punches that miss. McWimpy bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in BayawaK's guard. BayawaK keeping full guard, as McWimpy tries to pass. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! McWimpy postures up in BayawaK's guard and throws a big left but BayawaK blocks it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as McWimpy accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. BayawaK has control of McWimpy's left arm, preventing McWimpy from doing any damage. McWimpy is looking to stand up but BayawaK won't let him. McWimpy wants to control from the top but BayawaK keeps moving.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. A momentary lapse in concentration from McWimpy enables BayawaK to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. McWimpy manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. McWimpy tries to land a sweep but no joy.
That's five minutes gone in the round. BayawaK throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as McWimpy works some decent striking defense from the bottom. McWimpy bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in BayawaK's guard. McWimpy wants to control from the top but BayawaK keeps moving. McWimpy is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. BayawaK pulls McWimpy in close to prevent any damage. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Hammerfist, elbow! yells McWimpy's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
That's six minutes gone in the round. McWimpy postures up in BayawaK's guard and throws a big left but BayawaK blocks it. BayawaK can't keep his opponent in guard - McWimpy advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. McWimpy wants to free his trapped foot but BayawaK is holding on for dear life with his legs. BayawaK is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's seven minutes gone in the round. BayawaK keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. McWimpy trying to mount his opponent but BayawaK defends it. McWimpy uses his free foot to push down on BayawaK's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for BayawaK. McWimpy punching from mount but BayawaK doing a good job of avoiding damage.
That's eight minutes gone in the round. McWimpy wants to control the pace but BayawaK is squirming around nicely. BayawaK tries to lock up and control but McWimpy gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. McWimpy is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by McWimpy!
