The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Yukihiro Shimada and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Krozz misses with a kick to the body.
Gracie misses the jab.
Gracie shoots for a double leg takedown but Krozz sprawls well. He's pushed Gracie's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Krozz pivots, looking for a leg kick but Gracie is out of range and Krozz settles back down.
Gracie misses with a takedown attempt - Krozz sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Krozz is looking to clinch.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Gracie is defended easily by Krozz.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Royce Gracie. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Krozz tries to close the distance and clinch up but Gracie swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Gracie has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Krozz is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Krozz throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

Krozz lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Krozz lands with a short shot to the head.
Krozz scores with an uppercut up the middle.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Krozz drops Gracie onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Gracie is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!
