Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Otis Gein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Krzysztof Krzak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gein comes to the cage accompanied by Puritania. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Krzysztof Krzak was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
24 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Otis Gein! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Krzysztof Krzak! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Elvis Blanc and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Krzak ducks under a wild hook from Gein. Nice uppercut lands for Krzak. That snapped Gein's head back.

Gein throws a sloppy head kick and Krzak moves out of range easily. Gein bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Krzak's head backwards. Gein uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Krzak. Gein throws a low kick but Krzak moves out of range easily. Jab from Gein. Krzak misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Gein.
Krzak gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Krzak tries to close the distance and clinch up but Gein swats him away and circles back towards the center.
That's one minute gone in the round. Krzak connects with a crisp jab. Krzak misses the shot to the body. Nice defenses there by Gein. Gein clinches up against the cage. Gein avoiding damage.

Gein throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Krzak blocks it with crossed arms. Gein fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Gein swings wildly with an uppercut but Krzak uses good head movement to avoid it. No joy there for Gein, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Gein fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Krzak looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Krzak checks a leg kick. Krzak rushes Gein and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Krzak misses with a short punch on the inside. Krzak lands a body punch in the clinch. Gein scores with a hook to the body. Gein tries to throw a body punch but Krzak avoids it by throwing Gein back against the cage. Krzak breaks from the clinch.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Nice defenses there by Krzak. Gein throws a series of punches but Krzak moves out of range. Gein throws a head kick that misses. Gein misses the jab. Gein fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Gein misses with a looping left. Krzak tries to clinch up. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Gein throws the left hand but Krzak avoids the punch easily. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Gein pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Gein is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Krzak looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Gein blocks an uppercut.

Krzak tries to break free but Gein pushes him back against the cage. Gein tries to score a body lock takedown but Krzak shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Krzak blocks an uppercut.

That's one minute gone in the round. Krzak lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Gein lands with a right to the head. Krzak gets through Gein's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Krzak lands a body punch in the clinch. Gein keeps control of Krzak as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Gein lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Gein drops down looking for an ankle pick but Krzak pulls his leg out and moves away.

Gein moves out of range of the strikes. Otis Gein is winning the standup battle so far. Krzak throws a lazy uppercut
and Gein connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Gein has taken the fight to the clinch.

Krzak tries to score a power double leg takedown but Gein sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Krzak somewhat. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Krzak throws a hook but Gein blocks it. Gein throws a right and a left that both miss.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gein throws a looping overhand right but Krzak ducks down to avoid it. Krzak moves into range and connects with a jab. Krzak uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Gein. Krzak blocks a jab. Krzak takes one on the chin but seems OK.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Krzak is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Gein throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. Krzak cracks Gein with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Krzak misses with a looping left. Krzak tries to clinch up but Gein circles away and keeps his distance. Gein throws a hook to the side of Krzak's head but Krzak sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Gein ducks down and throws a hook to the body. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Gein throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Krzak on the side of the head. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Krzak checks a leg kick. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Krzysztof Krzak will probably get the nod - 10:9. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. And we move into the final round!

That's one minute gone in the round. Krzak displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Gein throws out the jab. Krzak takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Krzak changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gein tries to avoid it but Krzak manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gein to the ground. Gein escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Gein throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A big right from Gein misses. Gein throws a leg kick that misses. Krzak tries to close the distance and clinch up but Gein swats him away and circles back towards the center. Krzak swings widly with a right hand
and Gein counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Krzak thinking. Gein cracks Krzak with a good jab. Gein pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gein keeps the fight on the outside. Krzak throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Gein staying out of range there. Gein walks into a straight right hand from Krzak. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Gein lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Krzak has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Krzak and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Krzak fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Gein swinging wildly here.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Krzak throws a hook to the side of Gein's head but Gein sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Krzak misses with an uppercut. Gein shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Krzak utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Gein throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Gein throws a strike but Krzak rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Gein is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Otis Gein. Well Gein has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win...
