Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zombie throws a sloppy head kick and Dawson moves out of range easily.
Nice takedown defense from Dawson. No joy for Zombie on that attempt.
Zombie tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Dawson buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Dawson scores a takedown into full mount!
Dawson is landing with some decent strikes but Zombie is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Dawson is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Zombie has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Dawson wants to take his opponent's back but Zombie doesn't allow it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Dawson is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Zombie is surviving well by controlling Dawson's body position as best he can.

Zombie wants to try and get back to his feet.
Zombie tries to reverse the position but Dawson maintains control.
Dawson fails to advance to Zombie's back.

Zombie bucks up and throws Dawson to the side - he's got back to his feet. Great escape!

Dawson feints and as Zombie raises his hands in defense, Dawson changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Zombie wants to sweep here but Dawson controlling him for the moment.
Zombie manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Dawson manages to get himself to full guard.

Dawson is working an open guard so Zombie takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Zombie lands with a kick to the temple. Dawson shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

and Dawson counters by clinching up.

Zombie tries to pull guard but Dawson holds him up against the cage and eventually Zombie drops back down to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Razor Zombie. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Dawson tightens his grip and picks Zombie up, before dumping him to the ground. Zombie manages to land in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Dawson is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Zombie wants to get back to his feet but Dawson passes into half guard.

Dawson is working for a kimura but Zombie is defending it quite comfortably.

Dawson is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Zombie wants to control but Dawson is keeping busy.
Dawson trying to mount his opponent but Zombie defends it.
Dawson throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Dawson uses his free foot to push down on Zombie's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Zombie.

Dawson jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Zombie manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Dawson looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.

Dawson is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Zombie is forced to tap! Great finish!
