Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jose Protacio Jawo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nolan Martin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Martin comes into a darkened arena with his song building. War - The Sick Puppies kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Ian Loll and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jawo moves out of range as Martin throws a body kick.
Martin thows a body shot but no joy.
Jawo waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Martin.
Jawo swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Jawo throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Martin stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Jawo throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Jawo tries to close the distance and clinch but Martin swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Jawo blocks the body kick.
Jawo takes one to the chin there.
Martin misses with a low kick.
Martin swings widly with a right hand
and Jawo counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Jawo tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Martin connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Jawo momentarily.
Martin shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jawo but Jawo pushes him off and we're back to square one.
A chopping leg kick lands by Martin.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Jawo tries to work over Martin's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

A very excited looking Nolan Martin rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
