Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jared Little Brock Lesnar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Xavier Raines (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Xavier Raines has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jared Little Brock Lesnar! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Xavier Raines! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Wesley Smith and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Raines throws a sloppy head kick and Little Brock Lesnar moves out of range easily. Little Brock Lesnar closes the distance and clinches. Raines's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Little Brock Lesnar jumps guard and drags Raines to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Little Brock Lesnar seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Raines throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Little Brock Lesnar works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Little Brock Lesnar is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Little Brock Lesnar is figuring out what he wants to do next. Little Brock Lesnar is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Raines is just riding it out for now. Little Brock Lesnar eventually gives up the hold. Little Brock Lesnar throwing shots but Raines is blocking nicely. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Raines wants to control but Little Brock Lesnar is keeping busy and won't allow it. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Raines can do anything to dispel that myth. Little Brock Lesnar tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Raines. Raines really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Little Brock Lesnar. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Little Brock Lesnar moves nicely into side control. You can see the frustration on Raines's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Little Brock Lesnar misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Raines tries to escape but Little Brock Lesnar is in control. Little Brock Lesnar has an Americana. Raines didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Little Brock Lesnar is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Little Brock Lesnar hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Jared Little Brock Lesnar!
