Iranovichk comes into the arena with Spit It Out blaring out of the sound system. De Lucas has chosen Apaga mais não bate as his entrance music. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Lucas lands with a kick to the temple. Iranovichk shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
De Lucas closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
De Lucas is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Iranovichk is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
De Lucas controls the position.
Iranovichk is looking to reverse the position.
De Lucas is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Iranovichk looks calm but he's in trouble here. De Lucas gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Iranovichk is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! De Lucas lets go of the hold and Iranovichk can pop his arm back in it's socket.

In his post fight interview, Samuel De Lucas started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
