Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Roy Kris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Scorpien Rua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Scorpien Rua is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

7 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Scorpien Rua! The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Valeri Chadov and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sloppy strikes from Kris. Those never looked like landing. Kris lands a jab-cross combination. A combination from Kris does no damage. Rua slips a jab and a cross from Kris.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kris misses with a series of wild punches.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Kris throws a nice looking combination but Rua bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Roy Kris will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Kris's guard. Rua decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
And that's the end of the fight! Scorpien Rua comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Rua has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
