Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Logan Lawson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Stien (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Lawson might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to My Last. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Logan Lawson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ben Stien!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Tiny Johnson and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lawson fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Stien is out of range.
Stien slips under a jab from Lawson.

Lawson drives through and clinches with Stien against the cage.
Lawson's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Stien breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Lawson pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Lawson tries to clinch but Stien moves out of range.

Lawson moves into the clinch.
Stien swings wildly with an uppercut but Lawson uses good head movement to avoid it.
Lawson misses with some punches.
Lawson is pressed up against the cage. Stien has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Lawson down to the mat. Lawson avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Lawson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Stien avoids the head kick by Lawson.

Stien looks to land a left hand but Lawson moved out of range nicely.

Stien moves out of range of the strikes.

Stien cracks Lawson with a right hand to the side of the head.

Stien moves out of range as Lawson strikes.
Stien throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Stien missing with a left hand there. Lawson was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Stien takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Lawson scores with a head kick. Stien tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.


It looks like Ben Stien has been cut.
Lawson steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Stien.
Stien throws a leg kick but Lawson checks it.

Lawson takes the fight into the clinch.
Stien blocks an uppercut.
Stien struggles to land a body shot inside as Lawson controls his hands.
A battle for position here, against the cage.
Stien misses with a hook from the clinch.
Stien digs a right hand underneath Lawson's ribcage. Lawson let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Lawson misses with a punch to the body.
A head punch on the inside from Stien fails to land.

Stien turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Lawson on the wrong end of some ground and pound.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Stien fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Lawson looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Lawson is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Stien asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Lawson bucks up and tries to throw Stien off but instead Stien has got his back!

Stien is working the ground and pound here and the referee is taking a close look at Lawson. He must escape soon or this one will be stopped.
Stien scores with some strikes to the side of the head there. Good, points scoring shots.
Stien has Lawson flattened out and is raining down punches.


Lawson is rocked!
Stien connects with a couple of big shots that have Lawson covering up! Oh, this looks bad for Lawson! Stien fires away with several more unanswered shots and the referee has no choice but to step in! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
