Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Sergei Maximov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Attila Rytlewski! The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Dmitry Maklakov and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Maximov lands a two punch combo.
It looks like Attila Rytlewski has been cut. Rytlewski shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Maximov but Maximov pushes him off and we're back to square one. Maximov throws a right and a left that Rytlewski avoids nicely. Sergei Maximov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rytlewski will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Rytlewski has taken the fight to the clinch.

Sergei Maximov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Attila Rytlewski. Maximov throws an elbow but it misses.
Rytlewski using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Maximov has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Maximov breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
That kick from Maximov tenderised Rytlewski's leg. Rytlewski is trying to keep his angry face on. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Rytlewski clinches with his opponent.

That's one minute gone in the round. Maximov pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Maximov goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Maximov scores with a jab. Rytlewski acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Rytlewski is rocked! Maximov fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Rytlewski. Rytlewski looks gassed! Maximov throws a right hand that Rytlewski ducks under and follows up with a left that Rytlewski also avoids with ease. The fighters circle, before Maximov throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Rytlewski's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Maximov lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick & Punches). Sergei Maximov!
