Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ramazan Temel!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, JJ Thomas!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Robert Twigg and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thomas has his takedown stuffed
and Temel counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Thomas misses with a takedown
enabling Temel to counter with a crisp jab.
Thomas with a poor takedown
and Temel counters with a nice uppercut.
Ramazan Temel has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of JJ Thomas.
Thomas keeps the fight on the outside.
Thomas tries for a takedown but Temel circles away easily
and Temel connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Thomas gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Temel cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Temel cracks Thomas with a hook to the temple - Thomas is on wobbly legs here! Temel swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Thomas falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Temel wins by TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Ramazan Temel!
